The site as it is now, live and looked after by Solo. There was no earlier website, so there is no before.
The brief
Ecology Ready is a new programme, so the website had to explain it from scratch. One page had to work for three different audiences: students and graduates, universities, and the ecological consultancies that employ early-career ecologists.
There was no existing site to build on, so the structure, the copy and the imagery all started from a blank page.
What we built
A single-page site with anchor navigation
Separate sections for students, universities and employers
A nine-module programme breakdown in accordions
Team profiles with focus areas and LinkedIn links
A registration form with audience and interest fields
Consent wording written into the form
Full-width photography and a dark section rhythm
Mobile-first layout throughout
